(OSI) Campus Management division has been selected by the University of Western Ontario (Western) to provide a new SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, intended to monitor the power distribution for the campus's 87 buildings, 7,000 space parking lot lighting distribution panels and 17 km of underground cabling. Energy and Power Management for large campuses and universities is a growing area for OSI's Campus Management group. Located along the Thames River in London, Ontario (200 km west of Toronto), Western's campus covers 395 acres and possesses an electrical distribution system comprised of three 28kV/4.16kV Transformer Stations, each supplied by a separate London Hydro feeder.
