Hearing tomorrow in 1988 murder
Two sources with knowledge of the case who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed this evening that Christie is the John Doe listed on tomorrows court calendar.Also, the prosecutor in tomorrows case, Assistant District Attorney Douglas Randall, has been the prosecutor charged with the investigation into the Manville slaying.
Christie is currently imprisoned at Sing Sing prison in Westchester County for the 1994 murder of 4-year-old Kali Poulton.
The John Doe designation is typical when a grand jury indictment is sealed.
Hilton resident Frank Sterling was arrested in 1991 for the Manville murder and imprisoned until last year, when new DNA evidence pointed to Christie as Manvilles killer. The Innocence Project, which works to free the wrongly convicted, and local lawyer Donald Thompson had contended since the mid-1990s that Sterling was likely not guilty and Christie was the killer.
Christie confessed to the Manville killing to an Innocence Project-hired investigator, and later to county authorities, according to court papers. Because of that, prosecutors last year asked for Sterling to be freed.

You may have noticed though that a lot of lead singers in bands aren t actually the greatest singers. The reason why they can get away with it is because of the type of music the band is playing.
