Steve Magnante of Speed TV will appear at the Hitchcock Academy car show
Brimfield - Steve Magnante, known for his writings on the cars in national magazines and television appearances speed will be on hand to answer questions and talk about it on October 1 for the third annual show of the Academy Hitchcock Antique Auto.
The show, which will benefit educational and cultural programs for Hitchcock, will be at the heart of the field-of-O-Mart on Route 20 10:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Magnante will be bringing its Wilshire Shaker altered wheelbase '63 Chevy Nova for the show.

Magna is a television commentator for the Speed auctions Barrett-Jackson classic car and has written for Popular Mechanics magazine, Hot Rod, Mopar, Chrysler Food and Super Chevy.
He grew up in West Brookfield and developed his interest in antique cars as a boy when his mother, Jean Magnante, would give him and his brother Matchbox cars.
"This quickly led to the construction plastic model car kits.I liked how the general model kits gave options to the kit manufacturer in the custom of a stock car or a Drag Racer, "it also says that the car show can begin instant friendships.

"I want to give the car a voice in the sense that I check the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to confirm if the car has been altered in a manner that could affect its value," said Magnant.
